How did you get into the sector:     
I worked at The Savoy for five years as an apprentice Chef. I didn't like the unsocial hours so then progressed to work for an independent contract caterer in the Thames Valley.

What do you enjoy about your role:
Variety. Every day is different, but mostly I enjoy the interaction with people, clients and staff alike.

Growth. We need to grow in order to meet the aspirations of our ambitious team.

Coaching and encouraging our team at Accent Catering to exceed expectations and achieve their ambitions

What advice would you give to people keen to progress in the industry:          
Only work with people who have positive energy

Who inspires you:
Everyone with a positive attitude, particularly those who maintain this in the face of a challenging or difficult task.

What do you do in your downtime:
I don't have much of it, but it is mainly spent socialising with family & friends. Occasionally I find time for a bit of cycling & clay shooting.
